The competitive landscape of Valorant continues to evolve, with significant strides being made to showcase diverse talent in the scene. The Game Changers initiative has proven to be an effective platform for female players, allowing them to shine in a competitive environment. This is exemplified by the upcoming debut of a prominent Game Changers player in the Valorant Champions Tour.

Ava Eugene, known in the gaming community as florescent, is moving from Shopify Rebellion's Game Changers team to join Apeks’ Valorant Champions Tour lineup for the 2025 season. She is set to make her first appearance at the EMEA Kickoff tournament scheduled for January 15.

Reflecting on the transition to the VCT, florescent expressed her pride in her team's accomplishments over the past two years. She recognizes that the experience of competing with the same roster consistently is rare and believes it has imparted valuable lessons on discipline, dedication, and professionalism. Her ambition to enter the VCT has been a motivating factor since the very beginning, and she is grateful to Apeks for giving her this possibility. By thoroughly grasping the obstacles ahead, she is prepared to put in the effort needed to succeed.

While Apeks has yet to finalize its full roster for the 2025 season, it is known that florescent will be partnering with notable players Auni Chahade, Tautvydas Paldavicius, and Michał Łącki. The team remains open to one more addition, hinting at an exciting and dynamic lineup for the upcoming campaign.
