If you were eagerly anticipating a return to the Exclusion Zone in September with S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl's release on PC and Xbox Series devices, you'll need to exercise a bit more patience as the action game has experienced another delay.

The game, which has faced multiple postponements (something the Ukrainian developers, GSC Game World, have little control over), is now set to be released on November 20, 2024. The team has decided to take a few extra months to address what they describe as "unexpected anomalies," which essentially means bugs.

GSC Game World has offered more insight into the situation, explaining that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is progressing as envisioned and, with the launch approaching, they are excited to share more details. This will be done through a developer deep dive video to be launched on August 12, which will include interviews, new footage, and a comprehensive video walkthrough of an in-game quest.

Despite the delays, are you still excited for the eventual launch of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, especially knowing it will be available on Game Pass from day one?
