City of Chains is an indie game with a puzzle genre. It is a uniquely styled puzzle game in which you try to solve the puzzles and escape the city. City of Chains is a puzzle game in which the player has to make chains of various shapes and colors to solve the puzzles. Each puzzle consists of a grid with various shapes, some of them being movable. The goal is to efficiently use shapes to make chains of the specified color. City of Chains is a game about a group of Chicago police officers on the hunt for a serial killer. In the game, you are tasked with finding clues, interrogating witnesses, and collecting evidence to help the team narrow down the possible locations of the killer. The game is a noir thriller in which you have to solve the case before it's too late.

Gameplay

There are many different puzzles that are locked in the first few levels of the game. Once you get past these levels, there are more puzzles that are unlocked. You try to solve the puzzles to escape the city.

The player starts with a set of shapes on the grid, and can move any shape on the grid one square in any direction. On the top of the screen, a grid with a set of shapes shows what the player's current goal is. It can be a specific color of chain, or a shape, or a combination of both.

As in other similar puzzle games, the player has to use the shapes on the grid to create chains of the required color and shape. The player can create a chain by starting a new one with a shape that is adjacent to the last one.

In City of Chains, you have to interrogate witnesses, collect evidence, and find clues in order to help the team narrow down the possible locations of the killer. 

Graphics

The graphics of the game are hand drawn, and have a unique style. The game has simplistic graphics and is played in a grid. The graphics in City of Chains are relatively simple, with the game being mostly text-based. There is not much in the way of artwork, and the game does not really have any special effects.

Replayability

The game is not replayable because there is no way to "win". Once the puzzles are solved, there is nothing else to do. Each puzzle consists of a grid with various shapes, some of them being movable. The goal is to efficiently use shapes to make chains of the specified color. City of Chains is a noir thriller game, and as such, there is a good sense of replayability. Players will want to play again and again in order to find different clues and watch the story play out differently.
